Ultimate Trihards is a training squad for triathletes of all levels. We cater for beginners* just starting through to people training for the Olympic distance and above. We meet on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s throughout summer starting at 6.30pm. Each session is approximately 60 minutes. We meet each evening at Freyberg beach in Oriental Bay. The squad will run for 8 weeks of triathlon specific training starting on Tuesday 26th October and finishing on Thursday 16th December. The Squad then restarts on Tuesday 11th January and will run through till Thursday 4th March. |
| The first 8 weeks of training is $250 or $400 for both of the 8 week blocks. For any previous squad members that are returning the rates are $225 and $350 respectively. To sign up or for more information email trihards@trihards.co.nz. |

Certified by NZ Triathlon Dave is a keen coach and athlete. Dave has represented NZ at the world long course triathlon championships, world masters athletic championships. He has completed 8 Ironman races and has competed at all distances. He has a great knowledge of the sport and enthusiasm that is un-matched by any coach. |

Logan is a personal trainer at Les Mills, he has been competing in Triathlon since 2002. He has completed 7 Ironman races and a number of half Ironman races. Logan has also raced endurance running events including the Kepler Challenge (60km), Routeburn Classic (38km) and Transrockies (180km stage race). He has also competed in the 5 Passes cycle tour and K2 one day cycle classic race. |

Anna has numerous Surf Lifesaving titles and is our swimming guru. Anna has also completed Ironman, a number of half Ironman races and many short course triathlons. She has also recently set the record for fastest female swim crossing of Lake Taupo (40.2 km). She has great technical knowledge and a fantastic ability to communicate complex ideas simply. |
*The only beginner pre-requisite is being able to swim. This would be 100m of freestyle. We do a number of pool sessions before swimming in the sea so we will be able to give you lots of help and encouragement to get your swimming up to speed.
For cycling Mountain bikes or Hybrids are fine. Helmets are required as we ride on the open road.
